Cecil Lavone Brown, of Fernandina Beach, Fla., passed March 15, 2018.
She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Fernandina Beach.
Ms. Brown is survived by a devoted family that includes a son, Andre B. Brown; granddaughter, Andrea Brown; sisters, Carolyn Hooper, Beverly Ann Hooper, and Prudence Raysor; brothers, Seibert Hooper, James Hooper, Melvin Hooper, and Jackie Hooper; a devoted nephew, Rev. Jackie Hooper; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Brown may be viewed between 5 and 7 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 at First Missionary Baptist Church, located at 22 S. Ninth St. in Fernandina Beach. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at her church, and interment will be in Bosque Bello Cemetery.
