
David B. Jones, 71, of Fernandina Beach, Fla., passed away October 14, 2018 at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.
He was born October 12, 1947 in Newton, Mass. to the late William and Eleanor (MacDonald) Jones and married his wife, Robin Q. Jones, on December 3, 1983 in Floyd County, Va.
David attended Hingham High School in Hingham, Mass. and received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his master’s degree in clinical psychology as well as an MBA from Virginia Tech. He also received his Ph.D. in marketing from Virginia Tech. Dave was a marketing professor at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., and also a marketing professor and department chair at LaSalle University in Philadelphia for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Q. Jones; children, Alexander Jones of Santiago, Chile, and Christopher Jones and spouse Tessa B. Wheeler of New Orleans, La.; and a sister, Susan Lane of Greensboro, N.C.
The family will hold a private ceremony.
