R. LaMance Joyce, 63, passed away at his home in Kilmarnock, VA , on June 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Joyce McKinnis of Roanoke, Virginia and by his parents Shirley Hodges of Fieldale, Virginia and Dewel Joyce, of Lively, Virginia. Dr. Joyce is survived by his daughters Allison Leigh Joyce and Erin Elizabeth Joyce, both of Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Dr. Joyce received his BS from Virginia Tech and his DVM from the University of Georgia. He owned and operated Bayside Animal Hospital and Pet Emporium in White Stone, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
