Terry W. Jones, 61, of Callahan, Fla., passed away January 10, 2019 in Donaldsonville, Ga.
Mr. Jones had been employed for a number of years as a truck driver for Florida Rock and Argos. He was known by many as a hard-working man, a little man with a big heart. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and dearly loved his girls with all his heart.
He was predeceased by his wife of 31 years, Robbie Jones, who passed away in 2013; his parents, Frank and Margaret Jones; a brother, Jimmy Smith; brother-in-law, Heyward Lynn; and a sister, Kathy Frith.
Survivors include his three daughters and sons-in-law, Christy and Johnny Gaston of Moyock, N.C., Tina and D. J. Valentine of Jacksonville, Fla., and Terri and Corey Wasdin of Glen St. Mary, Fla.; brothers, Jerry Jones, Chuck Smith (Diane) and Phillip Smith (Brenda); sisters, Debbie Lynn and Tammy Screws (Rick); sister-in-law, Iris Smith; grandchildren, Devon, Reese, Carson, Kade, Foster and Ethan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home in Yulee.
