Albert C. Greene, 82, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Saturday, June 15, 2019.
He was the son of the late William T. Greene and Alma L. Dean, both of Pavo, Ga. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Yulee Baptist Church.
Mr. Greene is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Mrs. Virginia Greene of Pedal, Miss. Together they raised two sons, Joe Greene (Pam) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mark Greene of Yulee, Fla. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Greene was a soft-spoken, gentle man who always had a kind word and was greatly loved by his family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2019 at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
