
Retired U.S. Army Special Forces Master Sgt. Hal Forrest Faulk, MACV-SOG, passed away quietly in hospice July 13, 2019.
He was born January 18, 1933 in Louisville, Ky. to Edgar and Jeanette Faulk.
Hal served two tours in Korea and three in Vietnam and was part of the 18th Airborne Division when he retired in February of 1973.
A resident of Fernandina Beach since 1990, he loved going to Main Beach and looking at the ocean.
He is survived by his wife, Sigrid Faulk; his son, Dale Faulk; and his daughter, Diane Anderson. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a small memorial service at their home from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2019.
