Mr. Ronald Eugene Palmquist passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Kurt and Cassie Palmquist, in West Chester, Ohio.
Ron was born Dec. 29, 1942.
He is survived by his lifetime partner, Anne Friend; son, Kent (Melissa) of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two grandchildren, Kyla and Drew; son, Kurt (Cassie) of West Chester; and four grandchildren, Sydney, Brooke, Cooper and Max. He is also survived by his sister, Lynne McClurg of Fernandina Beach.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at First Presbyterian Church. His cremains will be placed in the church columbarium in a short ceremony for the immediate family before the 2 p.m. church service. A reception will follow in the social hall after the church service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church’s Generations of Generosity capital campaign.
