Danny Truitt ‘DT’ Britt
Danny Truitt “DT” Britt, 69, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017.
Born in Wilmington, N.C., on Aug. 19, 1947, he was the son of the late Rautie Bascom Britt and Kathleen Fairchild.
DT is survived by his children, Shelly, Shane and Colt; brother, Louie; sister, Judy; niece, Ashley; nephew, Blu; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
A Time of Remembrance and Reflection will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at Walter Jones Historical Park, 11964 Mandarin Road, Jacksonville.
