On August 29, 2017, God called his angel – Taranett Renee “Tuxalue” Brown aka Tara, 49 – home as her work here on Earth was done.
Tara was born October 10, 1967 in New York to Johnnie Mae Brown and the late Johnell Richo Jr. At six months old, she became a resident of Fernandina Beach. She attended Fernandina Beach High School and later in 1999, she moved to St. Marys, Ga. She was employed by Wal-Mart for 10 years before she became disabled.
Tara was preceded in death by her father, Johnell Richo Jr., her grandmother, Gussie Richo, and her grandfather, Sank Green.
She is survived by her mother, Johnnie Mae Brown of Fernandina Beach; her grandfather, Johnell (Delois) Richo Sr. of Fernandina Beach; her grandmother, Albertha Green of Fernandina Beach; one daughter, Dishaun Quarterman of St. Marys; one son, Antony Brown of Jacksonville; a brother, Decarlos “Neil” Richo of Fernandina Beach; three grandchildren, Na’rrie Turner, Faryin Graham and Antony Brown Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Elm Street Church of God. Line up will be at her mother’s house on 11th Street. Viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Elm Street Church of God.
