Kassidy Ashlyn Smith, 23, of Fernandina Beach, Fla., passed away on January 21, 2018 in Fernandina Beach.
Kassidy was a beautiful gift to all who knew her. She was kind, caring, and always smiling. Born on January 2, 1995 in Jacksonville, Fla., Kassidy grew up in Fernandina Beach and graduated from Fernandina Beach High School. She loved gymnastics, cheerleading, spending time with her cousins, large groups of friends, and the Georgia Bulldogs. Kassidy was a server at Sliders Seaside Grill.
Kassidy is survived by a large loving family, including her father, Keith Smith; her mother, Kristine Smith; sisters, Kellie Wiker and Megan Spiegel; grandparents, Jerry and Annette Smith and Hugh and Kelly Farnsworth; uncles and aunts, Brian and Stacie Smith, Marc Farnsworth and Bryan Farnsworth; and many other extended family members and close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at Oxley-Heard Funeral Home in Fernandina Beach with visitation starting at 10 a.m. The services will be performed by Pastor Becky DeBerry. Kassidy will be buried at Bosque Bello Cemetery in Fernandina Beach.
