Barbara Walsh Goff, 91 years young, of Amelia Island, Fla., passed away peacefully on Oct. 6, 2015. She was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Thomas Walsh and Beatrice Norton. She was one of three daughters. Barbara learned to fly before she could legally drive. She married Maurice A. Goff on April 3, 1948, and together raised eight children. All of her kids were raised to be strong, independent and thoughtful. She was a registered nurse mad avid gardener, loved to read and was the center of her family. She was of the Irish persuasion with Leprechaun blood and twinkling eyes. She leaves behind her loving husband Maurice and her children, Thom Goff (Jennifer) of Winter Haven, Fla.; Dan Goff (Susan) of Hayesville, N.C.; Robert Goff of Kodiak Ark.; Mary Jessen (Mark) of Dripping Springs, Texas.; Nancy Duggan (Paul) of Andrews, N.C.; Susan Lenchek (Michael) of Rochester, Mich.; Michael Goff (Li Rong) of Auckland, New Zealand ; Maureen Goff (Tim) of Port Townsend, Wash. Barbara enjoyed 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchild. She leaves behind her two sisters, Mary Hehl of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Helena Renaud (Ed) of Mystic, Conn.
