Mr. Timothy F. Dubberly, age 58, of Fernandina Beach, Fla., passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016.
Born in Fernandina Beach, he was one of four children born to the late Frank Richard and Virginia Sue Thomas Dubberly.
“Timmy,” as he was known, grew up in Fernandina Beach and was a graduate of Fernandina Beach High School. He had worked as a manager for Cal Gas, which later became Amerigas, for approximately fifteen years. In the early 1990s, Timmy joined Kinder–Morgan as an electrician working at the Port of Fernandina.
As a child, he was a member of Bible Baptist Church and most recently was attending Legacy Baptist Church in Nassauville.
Timmy enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, listening to Gospel music, spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren. He was devoted to his family and the needs of others.
He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Judy Driggers Dubberly, Fernandina Beach, Fla., children, Joseph Harpham (Nicole), Lakeland, Ga., Alan Dubberly (Amanda), Fernandina Beach, Fla., Samantha Dubberly (Bobby Haight), Ft. Myers, Fla., his sister, Rhonda Dubberly, Fernandina Beach, Fla., Billy Dubberly, Fernandina Beach, Fla., Terry Dubberly (Sue), Yulee, Fla., grandchildren, Blake (Darien) currently serving in the U.S. Navy at Mayport Naval Station, Fla., Jake and Lilly of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Alexa, Ft. Myers, Fla., Logan, Dana, Bella and Berlin, all of Lakeland, Ga., as well several nieces and nephews and his German shepherd, Buddy.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016 in the Burgess Chapel with Reverend Brian Herrington officiating.
Mr. Dubberly will be laid to rest in Bosque Bello Cemetery.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Oxley-Heard.
