Warren Winfield Reagin

Warren Winfield Reagin, 79, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 21, 2016. He was born June 20, 1937 in Redan, GA to the late Aaron and Ada Mize Reagin. Warren had lived in Fernandina Beach, FL for the past 17 years coming from the Lithonia and Cumming GA area, was a graduate of Lithonia High School class of 1956 and attended First Baptist Church Fernandina Beach and was a member of Redan Baptist Church. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army 1960-1962 in Germany. Warren was known as a dependable, hard worker. He worked in distribution for many years for Gates Rubber Company in Avondale, GA, as well as Tucker, Brookhaven and Buckhead Auto Parts in Atlanta, Ga as an Automobile Parts Associate. In Fernandina Beach, Warren worked for NAPA Auto Parts and for the family’s business, Courtyard Florist and General Store where he helped in all areas of the business but was most known for his courteous and efficient deliveries in the company’s bright yellow delivery van.

He loved to joke and laugh, was always happy and greeted you with a warm smile, never met a stranger but most of all, he loved his family. Warren was a loving and devoted husband, father, father in law, grandfather, brother, friend and just an all-around good man.

He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Reagin; sister, Barbara Ann Jackson. Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 59 years, Edna; daughter, Becky Adams (Von); Mickey Reagin (Donna); sister, Phyllis Gable; grandson, Jay Adams; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 20 at 11am at Highland Park Baptist Church, 1381 Irwin Bridge Rd NW Conyers, GA 30012 with Rev. Mike Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be by cremation.

Arrangements were under the direction of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Jacksonville, FL (904) 714-1110. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, communityhospice.com.
