
Gary Michael Denmark, 40, of Fernandina Beach, Fla., passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
He was born on August 3, 1977 in Jacksonville, Fla. to Phillip Denmark and Gail Rowland. The family moved to Fernandina Beach when he was very young, and he attended Yulee High School.
He started a life-long career as an appliance repairman and was considered one of the best in the industry.
Gary was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed four-wheeling, cookouts with friends and family, Gators and Broncos football, shooting pool and gaming-playing UFC and Madden Football with his friends.
He loved people and never wanted to see people sad, only happy. He often “chomped” people for a laugh.
His son Tyler was his whole world.
He is survived by his son, Tyler M. Denmark of Virginia; mother, Gail (Henry) Rowland of Fernandina Beach; father, Phillip (Christa) Denmark of Ft. McCoy, Fla.; siblings, Robin (Vince) Taylor of St. Marys, Ga., Jay (Lisa) Denmark of Fernandina Beach, Jessica Lee Rowland of Claxton, Ga., Ronald White of Tampa, Fla.; stepbrothers and stepsister, Terry Brickey, Sherry Rowland, Gary Manning Rowland; nieces and nephews, Cara (Doogie) Roberson, Melia Denmark, Scotty Oliphant, Garrett Denmark, Olivia Knisely, Brycen and Bella.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Burgess Chapel at Oxley-Heard.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the hour of service at Oxley-Heard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to benefit his son, “TD” to Jay Denmark, 95054 Canoe Lane, Fernandina Beach, FL, 32034.
