Emmanuel Frank “Nitty” Drummond

Funeral services for Emmanuel Frank “Nitty” Drummond, also affectionately called “Bullet,” will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Historic Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 715 Ash St. in Fernandina Beach. There will not be a wake. The family line up for the funeral will be from 831 S. Seventh St., also the repast after the funeral.

Emmanuel Frank “Nitty” Drummond was born on July 20, 1968, to the parents of Irma Drummond and David Turner. He was a member of the Trinity Church and was educated in the Nassau County school system. He loved the sport of football and helped other youth to excel in the game. He loved free styling and joking and was a funny comedian at heart. He was a great pool shark and it was not easy to beat him.

He leaves behind a loving mother, Irma Drummond Funches; three sisters, Rose Green of O’Neal, Fla., Sylvia Turner Mitchell of Jacksonville, Fla., and Vicki Roberts of Fernandina Beach; brothers, Marcus Williams, Derek (Tahirah) Turner, and Justin Turner; children, Malcolm, Malik and Caleb; a grandson, Malachi; uncles, Bishop Clarence (Lillie) Drummond of Kileen, Texas and William (Mae) Drummond of Jacksonville; special nieces, Ciara, Laci and India Roberts; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.

Rev. Patricia A. Thompson will be presiding. Bishop Clarence Drummond and Rev. Arizona Perkins will be officiating.
