Amber Michele Fletcher, 39, passed away Sunday March 31, 2019 in Jacksonville, Fla.
She was born June 11, 1979 in Des Moines, Iowa to James Parrish and Wendy Engelke (Fletcher). Amber loved sunflowers and the beach on a sunny day. She knew word-for-word every song by Guns and Roses and sang them beautifully. She attended Fernandina Beach High School.
Amber is survived by her mother and father; her sisters, Amy Parrish, Jessica Swahlan, and Nicole Young; her four sons, Jaron Hanifee, Jason Hanifee, Jacob Hanifee, and Veil Spaulding Jr.; daughter, Destiny Villa; three grandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews. Amber was much loved by all of her aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willis and Gail Fletcher and James and Addie Parrish, and her beloved cousin, Robert Justin Williams.
Services will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at O’Neil Memorial Baptist Church, located at 474257 E. State Road 200 in Fernandina Beach, Fla.
